TERRA- I know right…it sucks. I hate the fact that the ending is near. I do like this story A LOT. Hmm, funny that you mention that because I already wrote my second story!
Jocnell-True they do make a great family.
Ciriat- Yeah true. Your comment is so true.
Meh- Ah, I would hate to give up this story…but I do…but I am sure everyone will like my second story.
Jamie- Yeah, I know! I never get writer’s block unless its making dialogue.
Kat- Haha, I have quite a few favorites on here that I look out everyday. What are your stories? I have writing skills? I didn’t know that.
Beto- Everyone says they love my style but I don’t even know what it is. Honestly. Sorry but the ending isn’t going to be all happy…but its going to be a lovable ending.

Chapter 15- Two Way Street
(Four Months Later…)
Joanie likes Sara’s tummy. It’s actually grown over the last few months. Joanie is in love with the fact that there is actually a baby inside Sara. I didn’t know that Joanie knew how babies were made! Which settled enough for me not to worry about. Plus, the doctor said the most craziest thing I ever heard of my life. Today, we went to see what the gender of our baby was. Joanie was super hyper the whole car ride there. I would tell her to sit right and stop bugging me but she is only seven and I hate yelling at little children. But the drive went fast enough for us to be there in time for the appointment. Here is where it gets funny.
"I hope they are both girls!" Joanie cheers squeezing my hand jumping over the squares.
"Don’t you mean one baby." Sara corrects.
"No, two!" Joanie stomps and her eyes start to well.
"Joanie! It’s one baby and that’s final!" Sara yells at her. I shrugged and Joanie folded her arms and refused to walk next to us anymore. "What she needs a good beating. Being so rude in front so many people. I swear I don’t know what has gotten into that girl."
Joanie’s face starts to resemble a tomato as she sits on the floor bawls. Sara just ignores her and continues walking. She gives me a warning glare. So I follow her leaving Joanie to her tantrum. Loads of people looked at us as we made our way to the doctor’s office. Joanie realized we were leaving her as we turned the corner and came running after us. She inched for me to pick her up. I picked her up and kissed her little forehead and she wrapped her arms around my neck. Sara looked up at me and I shrugged. Girl must be bipolar or something lately.
Well it was even crazier because Joanie fell asleep. I guess that’s why she was so cranky this morning. I would be too if I was her age. Then it makes me wonder what it would be like to have another one of her running around. Oh my god! I can’t do it. I mean I don’t even want to see to the baby-
"Well, that his heartbeat and that’s him. He is a little small for a baby but he should grow over the months." Mr. Korsen claimed smiling at us. "But there is a slight problem. I am afraid if he doesn’t get a bit bigger by the next two months, then we will have to give you some special foods through your arm. But hopefully, he’ll grow."
Yeah, thanks doc! That really eases our worries. What’s next? Oh, yeah, your baby might not have a hand. But don’t worry it should grow over the next few months. I shake my head and sigh. I mean come my little baby b-
"It’s a boy?!"
"Well yeah. A cute little one in fact. I can’t tell what he looks like but from judging from your daughter sweet looks, he will be just as adorable."
"No! You said it was a boy. A little small baby boy." I am probably losing it right now.
"I am sure it’s a baby boy, Mr. Mare. I have been doing this since I was six. My father thought me how to read these monitors after the sixth baby into our family."
…
Joanie is eating her ice cream while sitting on the slide. Kimberly is beside her eating a bag of candy. I am sitting on the bench in the middle of Sara and Judy, Kimberly’s mother.
"I think it’s great that you guys are having a baby boy. Maybe, Dean and I should have more." Judy jokes. "So when are you guys getting married. I mean you aren’t going to have a baby then get married. Sara will be all sickly afterwards to even stand straight for you, Craig!"
Judy and I crack up at her little joke but Sara pinches me really hard and I take that cue to get away before I lose my arm. I looked over at Kimberly and Joanie. They were talking about the little addition to our family.
"I don’t want a baby brother. You know because Daddies forget all about their daughters. I remember because when Van was born, my father didn’t have time to take me to my dancing lessons. He was too busy trying to teach Van how to throw a baseball. I mean he is only five!" Kimberly stuffed her face with candy.
"That’s not true! Daddy Craigster, won’t forget about me." Joanie protested.
"Yeah but he isn’t really your daddy. And he is having a real baby with your mommy. His baby. He won’t have time for someone else’s kid. They might give you away. Plus, you have been acting like a big baby. I heard about what you did at the doctor’s office. Nobody wants a kid like that!" Kimberly giggles.
"That’s not true! They won’t give me away. I bet if I ask my mommy she will tell me-"
"Because, she don’t want you to know." Kimberly stuffs her face and Joanie looks at her ice cream cone.
"Take it back!" Joanie eyes well.
"It’s the truth. At least my mommy didn’t yell at me!" Kimberly smiles a big smile.
"IT’S NOT TRUE!" Joanie shoves Kimberly over the slide.
Kimberly catches herself before she falls and drops her candy. Judy screams and helps Kimberly and places her safely on the ground.
"You made me drop my candy!" Kimberly cries. "I am not your friend anymore!"
"I don’t care!" Joanie slides down the slide and throws the ice cream cone at Kimberly.
"I hate you!" Kimberly spits at Joanie and throws the candy bag at Joanie’s head.
"Girls!" Judy screams. "That is no way to act in a public place!"
"Joanie started it!" Kimberly fussed wiping her sweater off from the ice cream mess.
…
"You can’t act sane in a public place at all!" Sara yells at Joanie as we eat dinner later that night. "You could have hurt Kimberly shoving her like that."
"She said mean stuff!" Joanie protested. "She deserved it anyway. She is so greedy."
"Yes but you have known Kimberly since you were a year old. How could you do such a nasty thing to her. You scared her and you threw stuff at her. She used words she didn’t use physical force like you did." Sara yells even louder.
"It’s not my fault!" Joanie cries. "Besides, I don’t care anymore. I think I prefer if you give me away like she said because you will have your little precious baby boy!"
Joanie runs to her and slams the door. Sara slams her fork down goes to her room and slams the door. Its like a two way street to hell.
